I previously made a lino print which I hoped to use as a cover for my GIF flip books, specifically for the bluebird GIF. As I’m hoping to do the same for this GIf, I made some last-minute reductive experiments. I really enjoyed creating these images, and i do think they could serve as a visual compliment, but they do struggle to have any real context as the fish are still alive and, due to the use of colours the imagery isn’t particularity strong. As experiments they serve their purpose, but as a finished piece of work to use as a cover they lack any real strength. For now I think my work would benefit from sticking to the natural flow of animation and GIF making than randomly creating book over imagery. For now book covers are becoming more of a distraction especially as I haven’t made any flip books tests.  cover 1 cover 2
