I have tested a way of turning my current, most final version of the GIF into a flip book, but so far the attempts didn’t start very successful. I have already learn the process of paper-folding and binding, but learning the layout of images wasn’t something I’m particularly familiar with, but InDesign seemed the way to go about it. I manufactured a simple 8 page or so document allowing plenty of space for borders and bleed from one piece of paper, which I could put back into the printer to print double-sided.

I wasn’t really sure what i predicted, but by the time I had folded, binded and guillotined the edges I could tell that it didn’t look right at all. Every single image was not lined up correctly. I decided as this wasn’t working for me to leave it for now and attempt to revisit again later. As at the moment its still providing a distraction from the main GIF making process. If I think of an alternative way of constructing the book to avoid mistakes I can revisit it in the future.
